This document sets out how Che Truck Transport Co., Ltd. collects, uses and discloses personal data on this freight price-checking website, under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). Read it in full to understand what using this site means for your data.
This website is operated by Che Truck Transport Co., Ltd., which is the data controller within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019). The company decides the purposes and methods for collecting, using and disclosing the data it receives from website users, and ensures that the staff involved use it only as far as each part of the work requires.
We store data in a database the company administers itself, on the company’s own servers. Access to that database is limited to the administrator accounts the company issues.
We ask for no more than the data that lets us price your job. The following list is what we actually collect, and we collect nothing beyond it.
| Data category | Examples we collect | Why we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| The route you enter | Pickup and delivery point names plus any extra stops and their provinces, the reference address, and the coordinates the system derives from that name | To measure the distance of the route and calculate freight at the published tariff |
| The prices the system calculates | The truck model chosen, add-on services, distance, base charge, VAT and total | To issue a quote you can refer to, and so the team confirms the same figure you see |
| Contact details you choose to save | Full name or shop name, mobile number, LINE ID and site notes, when you press save on a quote | So the team can call you back, confirm the run and issue billing documents |
| Administrator account data | Username, a password stored as a hash, and the lifetime of the login session | To control access to the rate management and quote list screens |
| Anti-automation data | The IP address used to count how many times quotes are saved within a period | To stop the save endpoint being flooded until it fails; this data is held only temporarily in memory |
We do not buy customer lists from data brokers, and we do not match data from other websites to your identity.
Each purpose relies on a legal basis under Section 24, paragraph one, of the personal data protection law. We do not use data beyond the purposes stated below.
| Purpose | Basis relied on | Is providing the data required? |
|---|---|---|
| Calculating distance and showing a price per run | Section 24 (2): necessary to act on your request before entering a contract | Only the route data is required |
| Contacting you back, booking the truck and administering the hire | Section 24 (2): contract basis | Required for the job you commission |
| Issuing tax invoices, delivery notes and billing documents | Section 24 (3): legal duty under tax law | Required when the job is recorded in a company name |
| Preventing abnormal automated use of the system | Section 24 (6): legitimate interest | The system does this automatically |
| Producing statistics on routes and how much demand there is for trucks | Section 24 (6), reduced to aggregate figures that identify no one | Contact details are not used |
We disclose data only as far as each part of the work genuinely requires. Every recipient is contractually bound to use the data only for the task assigned to it, and we have never sold personal data to an advertising or analytics company.
| Recipient | Reason | Data sent |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps Platform | To convert place names into coordinates and measure the distance of the route | Only the place names and coordinates of the pickup and delivery points, with no names or contact numbers |
| The truck operators and drivers who actually do the job | So the truck can find its way to the site and reach the sender | Pickup and delivery points, the agreed time, the list of goods, and the contact number needed for that booking |
| LINE | The channel you choose for confirming a run and keeping the conversation | The messages you send, inside LINE’s own system |
| Auditors and the Revenue Department | To comply with tax law and accounting standards | Hire and payment documents for the accounting period |
| Government bodies with legal authority | To respond to a lawful request | Only what that order specifies, and no more |
Some of the providers we use have systems abroad, namely the mapping provider and the email delivery provider. In those cases data is sent only as far as the service you requested needs, and we require that provider to protect the data to the standard the law requires.
Conversations on LINE take place on LINE’s own system, which you choose to use. We therefore do not control the data held on that side, and sending photos or documents in the chat is also subject to LINE’s terms.
We keep data only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires, then delete it or make it anonymous once that period ends. The periods are set out explicitly below.
| Item | How long we keep it | Why that period |
|---|---|---|
| Price checks where you did not press save | Not stored under your name | No contact details enter the system |
| Saved quotes | Until the job ends, then reviewed for deletion every 12 months | Used to refer to when confirming the run and billing |
| Conversations the team summarises as notes | Until the job ends | To prevent disputes over the price and conditions |
| Accounting and tax documents | 3 years, as tax law requires | To be able to show them to the Revenue Department |
| Records of rate changes in the back office | Until the system’s next major upgrade | To check where a changed figure came from |
| Anti-automation data | Temporarily in memory, no more than 10 minutes | To limit how many requests can be made |
You may exercise your rights under Sections 29 to 36 of the personal data protection law at any time and free of charge. We may need identity documents before acting, so that your data does not leak to someone who is not its owner.
If a breach of the data we hold occurs, we notify those affected and act as the law requires, without waiting for a request.
These are commitments we intend to be genuinely checkable. The page structure and code of this site embed no tracking tools from advertising providers.
This site is designed for business owners and the staff who handle their freight. We do not create content for children and do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 20 years of age. If we find that we have received such data unintentionally, we delete it as soon as we know.
We may revise this text to match a change in how we work or in the law, and the version in force always shows its update date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a revised version is published means you have been told of the new text. If you have saved a quote with us and the data in it changes materially, we will tell you through the contact channel you provided.
Send your request to the email below, headed as a data subject rights request, and give us a channel to reply on. We act on requests within 30 days of receiving them and confirm the outcome in writing.
